System Support Specialist

Energybox is a leading, global IoT Automation & Solutions Company. We help multi-site customers automate their operations, reduce costs and improve sustainability. We provide an integrated IoT platform which includes proprietary sensors, controls, software and AI to monitor, automate and optimize facilities, equipment and processes.  

Energybox is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual to play a key role with ensuring reliability and resilience of products, systems, and customer relationships. The incumbent will provide technical support services to customers and installers as they set up our technology from startup, troubleshooting, to resolution of software hardware, and network issues.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Analyzing and managing system issues and requests providing reproducible steps to outline issues 
  • Project management of multi-site deployments of systems
  • Ensuring health of the Energybox system and integrity of data 
  • Tracking of customer related issues and provide detailed support and explanation
  • Define issues and organize necessary parties to track resolution progress 
  • Effectively communicate status and resolution to customers and internal team members 
  • Institute process, rigor and coordination of system set up and integration
  • Provide necessary feedback to R&D related to product requirements, 
  • Deep and proficient understanding of the company’s products, solutions, and software 
  • Manage and facilitate satisfactory and speedy resolutions to customer and system issues 
  • Ensure designs meet all functional application requirements as it relates to system integration
  • Ability to travel – Estimated 15%

 

Requirements:

  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience 
  • Proficient in setup and maintenance of  Networking and IT infrastructures 
  • Skillful understanding of cloud solutions as it relates to IoT environments
  • Customer centric and adaptable
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and technical installation methodologies and processes 
  • Good understanding of Automation, Control, and BMS systems 
  • Analytical thinking for troubleshooting and solving problems both remote and onsite
  • Passion for data and analytics, a philosophy of using technology to help solve business problems
  • Proficient verbal and written communication
  • Working knowledge of Cisco IoT solutions

Schedule:

  • 10AM to 7PM CST (8 hour shift)
  • Monday to Friday
