Account Executive – Multi-site IoT & Automation

Energybox is a leading IoT Automation & Solutions Company. We help multi-site customers automate their operations, reduce costs and improve sustainability.  We provide an integrated IoT platform which includes proprietary sensors, controls, software and AI to monitor, automate and optimize facilities, equipment and processes.  

Energybox is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual. The Account Executive will be responsible for the acquisition and growth of large multi-site enterprise customers within Energybox’s focused industry segments.  The candidate will be responsible for understanding the customers workflow, and process challenges, and translate to benefits coming from the Energybox solutions.

  • Comfortable with developing new customers and selling to all levels within an organization

About Your Job: 


  • End to end customer engagement: prospecting, proposal, negotiation, and close 
  • Able to leverage software and IoT Systems to enhance commercial outcomes in multi-site environments, such as restaurants, convenience stores, and laboratories 
  • Comfortable working with both technical and operational decision makers
  • Comfortably articulate technology and functionality of Energybox solutions, within the context of customers environment 
  • Leveraging Energybox solutions to meet and enhance customer workflows, processes and overall experience 
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers throughout the contract term and develop new relationships
  • Represent the company at trade shows or marketing organizations to promote and demand creation
  • Ability to travel 50% or more 



  • Preferred 5+ years of experience within IoT software sales and related activities 
  • Solution and value selling 
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with C-level executives, IT Management and Operations managers
  • Highly proficient in selling software as a service (SaaS) to enterprise customers
  • Passionate about introducing new technologies and solutions to target markets 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills with the ability to translate technology concepts to address customer pain points
  • Proficient commitment and ability to close sales and meet targets 
  • Flexible and results driven individual who demonstrates a positive “whatever it takes” attitude
