About your job:

Human Resources

  • Responsible for HR matters for about 40 – 50 staff
  • Oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale, and training and development
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to management and staff and participate in HR decision making processes at each level
  • Assist with the implementation of process improvements related to recruitment and benefits
  • Manage employee relations issues and present options and recommendations for resolution
  • Coach directors, supervisors, and managers on performance management and employee development.
  • Assist and advise on HR policy interpretation, regulation and application
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide data from exit interviews, analyze trends and identify additional retention opportunities/ initiatives
  • Assist in communication, development and roll-out of human resource programs and policies
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS)
  • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with MPHD’s civil service rules, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
  • Performs other duties as required

Administration

  • Office rent and insurance package negotiation and renewal
  • Office supply replenishment
  • Office equipment procurement and maintenance with purchasing team member
  • Coordinate work assignments to staff and administer workflow for the offices
  • Respond to phone and email, with a strong focus on good customer service.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain calendars for leaders
  • Manages the administrative and business details of the office.
  • Performs a variety of administrative duties which may include scheduling, calendar management
  • Prepares reports and other documentation as requested
  • Creates and maintains accurate documents and records
  • Manage/plan complicated logistics for meetings and special events
  • Create presentations for meetings
  • Participate in multifunctional projects

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience with both MNC and start-up experiences would be preferable
  • Can work independently with strong can-do attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and
  • multitasking skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented team player with positive work attitude.
  • Good communication, presentation, and people management skills.
  • Well – versed in US Employment Ordinance and other related ordinances.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
